Decoupaged a pair of Size 10 heels from Value Village with images from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine comic books, which were on a heavier, glossier paper, not newsprint. Used Modpodge to do the decoupage but I did have to reinforce with some clear packing tape after wearing the first time, as any bending of the shoe loosens the paper layer.
